Founded by Michael Connolly, Talent Engines is deeply rooted in the legal profession. Michael’s father, Paul Connolly, was a co-founder of Williams & Connolly. Michael had a front row seat of how exceptional firms attract and retain the right lawyers. The loss of his father and son, both named Paul, inspires a commitment to meaningful connections and purposeful careers.
Michael envisioned a company that combines the best of human insights and technology that converge to place the right people in the right environments, thereby enhancing both individual and organizational success.
Step one was to develop the talent intelligence platform, Talent Engines™—a platform that leverages AI and graph databases to map relationships among over 450,000 lawyers, encompassing 7.2 million connections. This innovative approach ensures that candidates are matched not only based on skills but also on cultural and relational fit.
Step two was to attract the best recruiters that understood the benefits of the Talent Engines platform – faster sourcing, unique candidate ranking, efficient candidate engagements and much, much more.
